In 1982, Greg and Brendan Feeney decided to start their own excavation business. With only 2 employees, a backhoe and dump truck, they took their expertise and began excavating for a local gas company. Twenty years later, Feeney Brothers Excavation Corporation (FBEC) employs over 95 people and services the entire southeast region of New England.

Today, they have built one of the most respected underground utility corporations in the area. Our headquarters are based in Dorchester, MA, while our crews are located throughout central and eastern Massachusetts.

With over 32 years of experience in the utility industry, Brendan serves as the president of Feeney Brothers Excavation Corporation (FBEC). Starting out on in the field, Brendan has taken that frontline knowledge and experience to lead the strategic planning, business development and marketing efforts of FBEC today.

Aidan (Greg) Feeney
Vice President and Co-Founder

Greg’s knowledge of the underground utility excavation has been gained through 30+ years of hands-on experience in the field and in the conference room. He has managed construction projects for a variety of clients since 1985.

Today, he continues to be involved with all major decisions within FBEC. His teamwork approach allows him the opportunity to work 1-1 with all levels of staff. This dedication has produced a corporate culture dedicated to quality projects completed with the utmost safety and commitment to all of our customers.

As an active member of North American Society for Trenchless Technology and a former Executive Board Director of Utility Contractors Association of New England (UCANE), he continues to influence industry policy and procedures.
